DESCRIPTION:With North Fork Women President Barbara Novick\nDecember 15th @ 11:30 a.m.\nwith an optional Lunch for attendees and their friends.\nLocated at Front Street Station\n212 Front Street\, Greenport\, NY 11944\n• The optional lunch at Front Street Station starts at approximately 1 p.m. All are invited to join us using the signup below.\n\nThis will be the very first in a series of musical encounters! \nWe’ll briefly discuss music’s powers to reach and move our emotions and affect healing and well-being. Dr. Oliver Sacks will be cited in addition to several contributors to the recently released book “Music and Mind” by Renee Fleming. \nBarbara will guide us through some enlightening and enjoyable listening experiences as we draw what we hear. Supplies will be provided. \nWe’ll celebrate Beethoven’s 254th birthday with guided listening and drawing to his most unusual and superbly beautiful symphony.
