The 2025 Lavender Soiree

The Event

The Labor Day Benefit is now The Lavender Soiree. It will be held at the American Legion Hall, at 102 3rd Street in Greenport from 5 – 9 pm. Entry includes a Welcome Hour with Live Music, Passed appetizers, a buffet dinner, dancing, and a cash bar to quench most thirsts.

The Lavender Soiree is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It helps North Fork Women raise funds that are necessary to help others in our community. These funds are proving to be harder to come by, so please be as generous as you can.

Please participate in one of our four Auctions:

• The Live Mission Auction: Be part of our Granting process by being part of the Live Mission Auction. The Mission Auction will be comprised of four of our most in demand grant categories, based on our 2024 Grant Giving:
  • • Medical Grants The cost of a Medical Grant averaged $870 per month.
    • Non-Medical Grants The cost of a non-Medical grant was $930 per month
    • Medical alert buttons The cost for subscribing to a Medical alert button was approximately $400 per month for all of our subscribers combined.
    • Dental Grants The cost to cover teeth, which are not usually covered under most insurance is $613 per month.
• The Janet Swanson Silent Art Auction: On display will be works from our very talented local community. Please be generous when you bid.
• The 50/50 Auction: As the name implies, you win 50% of the cash raised by the 50/50 Raffle. The more tickets sold, the bigger the pot of cash you could win. 50/50 Raffles can be purchased without attending the event. Numbers will be posted online by Monday, 9/1.**
• The Chance Auction: Many local businesses and individuals have donated gift certificates, baskets and services to the Chance Auction. Chance tickets are $2 each and sold in blocks of ten tickets each. Have fun bidding and you could come home with something to celebrate.**

** 50/50 and Chance Auction tickets can be purchased online or on the night of the event. Ticket numbers are chosen completely at random. Online raffle and drink purchases will be held at the door with your entry ticket.

Soiree Sponsorships

When you invest in a Soiree Sponsorship for lesbian- and queer-women-focused initiatives, you’re doing more than funding a single night. You’re honoring resilience, closing equity gaps, and ensuring safety, dignity, and visibility in an increasingly hostile environment.

Since 1992 North Fork Women has given over a half-million dollars to lesbians on the North Fork who are underinsured or facing emergency health situations caused by aging, illness, disability, or emergency situations. We supply Medical Alert buttons to those who choose to live independently. North Fork Women is an organization that is committed to health advocacy, socialization, and education.

Here are the Soiree Sponsorship Levels:

• $5,500: Presenting Sponsor:  Pre-, Onsite, and Post-event recognition across all platforms. Announcement at event to 150+ guests. Named as fall 2025 sponsor for three First Friday mixers. Eight tickets to the Soiree.
• $2,500 ICON:  Pre-, Onsite, and Post-event recognition across all platforms. Announcement at event to 150+ guests. Six tickets to the Soiree.
• $1,000 HERO:  Pre-, Onsite, and Post-event recognition across all platforms. Announcement at event to 150+ guests. Six tickets to the Soiree.
• $750 ADVOCATE:  Pre- and Post-event recognition across all platforms. Two tickets to the Soiree.
• $500 FRIEND:  Pre- and Post-event recognition across all platforms. Two tickets to the Soiree.
• $350 DANCE FLOOR:  Sign in front of DJ setup, plus one ticket to Soiree
• $200 FLAIR + CARE:  Sign in front of Decor + Photo Backdrop

Tickets

• General Entry $100 per person. 

• Sponsor Tickets are $250 per person and include two drink tickets, plus our sincere gratitude for the extra help you are giving to others.

• All same-day tickets are $120 per person and can only be purchased at the door starting at 5 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
