The group meets at 10 a.m. — Kayak launch is at 10:30

Get ready for an extra special summertime session of Out & About! It’s time to trade in your hiking boots for a swim suit and to go paddling at Orient Beach State Park.

• Meet at the park near the concessions and restrooms (wood-shingled building) by 10 am.
• Rent a kayak or paddle board from Eagle’s Neck Paddling Company to explore Hallocks Bay at 10:30 am!  Take in breathtaking vistas, close-up views of wildlife, and remnants of our local history while paddling with friends. It’s summer fun that you won’t want to miss!
• Attendees are responsible for the cost of their individual rentals ($35 to $55) and admission to the park ($10 per vehicle). Please note that kayak/paddle board rentals are offered on a first come, first served basis.
• Lunch to follow at the park; bring a picnic lunch or purchase something to eat at the park’s concessions, Third Culture Club.
