The group meets at 10:20 a.m. — The Hike sets off at at 10:30
It’s time to get Out & About with North Fork Women one more time this summer, this time at North Fork Preserve County Park. Join us for a rewarding hike through this hidden gem of the county park preserve system. This preserve is home to plenty of Long Island’s native flora and fauna and offers a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors! This park in particular offers incredible birding, so feel free to bring your binoculars. Meet us at 10:30 am at the North Fork Nature Preserve County Park located on Sound Avenue in Aquebogue.
Parking at the Preserve is available on a first come, first served basis. Please also note that no bathrooms are available at the Preserve.
An optional lunch follows at Buoy One Restaurant, located at 40 Peconic Ave in Riverhead (parking available in lots along river).
Please fill out the RSVP below if you plan to come so we know how many to expect. If you feel like coming at the last minute, please come even if you didn’t fill out the form.
