During the month of June North Fork Women is offering an opportunity where you can donate to help send local children to CAST Summer Rise Camp for Kids.
CAST’s Summer Rise Program is a full-day Monday-Friday program running for 6 weeks in the summer providing low-income or at-risk elementary school students with a balanced curriculum to enhance academics, language development, and mental/physical wellness while exposing them to enrichment experiences in the arts, technology, gardening, outdoor activities and more.
They cover it all — from transportation to and from the camp, nutritious meals and lots of socialization and education in between. The camp provides a safe space for children to go to while their guardians(s) are working or not available.
Funding for necessary programs such as this is uncertain in this time of financial instability. Please help to keep this Summer Rise going. Help local kids by donating to this worthy program today.
