Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s Disease, other forms of dementia, or cognitive decline can be challenging. The complexity of these challenges can be heightened when the caregiver or loved one is a member of the LGBTQ community. This presentation will highlight specific tools and strategies for LGBTQ individuals and their families around accessing proper care, receiving care and support, and where to find appropriate community resources. Includes a period for Q & A.
